Free Marketing Forums:

There are several forums dedicated to allowing it's member to post free ads that can be seen by hundreds of people in a very short amount of time with little work by the marketers. These forums get thousands of page views a day and have very active communities. Not a lot of people know how to use these to their advantage thou... I am going to show you some tricks I use to get web traffic with these kinds of forums.


Step One:

After signing up be sure you're first step is to set up your signature! This is important for your marketing, and many forums even tell you this, but not to many people read it. The reason this is important for you is 1) When you respond to someone post your ad will be seen at the bottom of your post. This can help get a little more traffic to your site. 2) Many of these forums have search engine friendly URLs which means the most times your URL is shown the higher page rank you will have inside search engines!

Step Two:

You need to be sure you post in the proper place! I have seen many well written ads in places they have no place being, and this does you no good. People go to the sections they are interested in so usually only open ads that pertain to that subject...

Step Three:

Writing a powerful header. This is by far the most important piece of using these forums.. You are competing against thousands of marketers for your ad to be seen. So writing a powerful header is extremely important. Make it stand out. I usually use stars ****Free Marketing Forums**** or dashes ----Free Marketing Forums---- this helps offset your ad and will grab the eye of people who are searching for good posts to read.

Step Four:

Writing a simple ad... Have you ever went to a forum or gotten an email that was like reading a small book? If you have chances are you didn't make it through that post/email. The same goes for marketing with free forums. Your ad have to be short and to the point. Ge them interest in seeing your site, not buying your product. Your site sells your product, your ad sells your site.


Now that you have posted your free ad just check on it twice a day.. Respond to a couple of posts so your signature is seen and respond to your own post when it's down around the third of fourth page so it gets brought back to the top of list.

I am going to post a resource list of free marketing forums out there on the net that I know of.. It's a rather large list and can bring a large amount of traffic to your site if used correctly!
