Free Banner Marketing

Have you ever wanted your banner seen on hundreds, or even thousands of sites? There are several methods of doing just that, and some of them are even 100% free!

In this post I am going to explain one method I have used several times with success. I am also going to explain some of the downfalls of using some of these systems....

There are several free banner networks out there that will allow your banner to be seen on hundreds or even thousands of sites all 100% free to you and your business. They only thing they require in exchange is for you to show their networks banners on your site... Believe it or not, but this is more than a fair trade for a good network.

The larger these networks grow the more your ad can be seen and the more ads appear on your site.. This means that your banner can be seen on thousands of sites rather quickly even if the network that you join is brand new!

Now the downside to a lot of these networks is that even thou they allow you to block some ads from being seen on your site you have to catch the ads you don't want your customers to see. So you have to spend time baby sitting the ads on your site, which can be bothersome to many web masters out there.

That's why there are several networks that have been popping up over the net that offer you a totally free system that have strict guidelines to ensure that your site never gets the kinds of ads your customer would find bothersome.

You need to make sure the network you choose protects you from adult content, self opening banners, and malicious banners.

Adult Content:
Unless your site is adult in nature many people will find these banner ads highly offensive and it may even be labeled as unsafe for work if you allow adult banners on your site.

Self Opening Banners:
With more and more people out there using flash banners it is becoming more and more frequent to find banners that can open them-selves with out ever being clicked.. These banners usually send your page viewers to a site that cannot be closed or sends them into an endless loop of pop-up ads.. These potential customers never return.....

Malicious Banners:
Once again with the use of flash banners becoming more and more popular many people have began using them to install malicious software onto your page viewers computers. These programs can be anything from Trojan viruses to fake software that hides it's self as anti-virus software.

So while using these systems can bring massive traffic to your site just be sure that they are well managed! Personally I suggest http://vur.me/freebanner/V/ which is a brand new network systems that hand checks every link and banner to ensure it's safe for you and your company...
